UFC 91 Video: Brock Lesnar vs Randy Couture

What a fight! Last night we got to see UFC veteran Randy Couture take on newcomer Brock Lesnar in a title fight. This was just Lesnar’s fourth fight, but he is such a beast and so popular from his days in WWE, he was given a title shot.

Plus, having Brock Lesnar as a main event would draw huge crowds…

Unfortunately I can’t post the video here, and you won’t find it on Youtube because the networks are on the lookout for possible bootleggers, but I have found where you can watch Lesnar vs Couture online for free:

WorldStarHipHop.com (direct link to fight video)

MegaVideo (direct link to fight video)

The video is about 10 minutes long, so you know the fight must have ended in the second round…

To see who won, watch the video. It’s a great fight!

word on the street is that Britney Spears is naked in her new Womanizer video, and she looks good.

obviously you only see some of her body, so it’s safe for tv, but yeah she’s not doing too bad.

Baby Wee Wee Makes Another Appearance

Filed under: Entertainment, Fun Stuff, Humor — Tags: — Erin @ 12:56 pm

it seems baby wee wee is all the rage once again.

if you missed it, here’s a recap:

“his little willy moves and it’s time to pee pee” you have got to be kidding me!

not only that, the ad shows how you tickle him and his “wee wee” becomes erect and then sprays out water.

i was looking for the site, trying disneychannel.com/suitelife and disney.com/suitelife but here is the real link:

http://tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/suitelife/

youll find all sorts of obnoxious sound effects before getting to the photos, blogs from the kids, and other neat stuff.

House Season 5 Episode 1: Dying Changes Everything

Filed under: Entertainment, TV — Tags: — Erin @ 6:21 pm

so i missed House last Tuesday. dangit! somehow i missed all the ads that i’d usually see about a season premiere. it’s the only one i missed.

but i wasn’t too pissed off cuz fox.com usually lets you watch episodes online for all there shows. so i checked on house and look at that “episodes are viewable 8 days after they air”. are you kidding me????

house is on tonight and i can’t watch the episode i missed last week?! freakin A!

seriously, i understand having a delay before posting the vids online, but why not 5 or 6 days?? 8 days just screws us up!

i had to find some foreign youtube-ish site to see the show, which took forever to load!

i hated to do it but fox.com and their dumb 8 day policy left me no choice.

BehindTheBuy.com – Ready for Primetime?

Filed under: Cool Websites, Entertainment, Fun Stuff — Tags: , , — Erin @ 1:28 pm

so i watched the early show this morning before heading off to the summer job. saw a segment about staycations (vacations where u stay at home) with cool ideas thanks to behindthebuy.com, some sort of shopping website.

as i like to complain, look at their freaking site.

first it looks ok, then this stupid obnoxious video starts playing and you can’t pause it or adjust the sound! then, to make matters worse, it repeats itself over and over! you have to browse to a new page or leave the site to end the horror.

but before you go, scroll down the front page. there are lots of “coming soon” boxes. this site is on national television and it’s not even complete! whose d*** did they have to suck to get on tv?

anyway, i scrolled the site, and just found blank pages. what a flippin joke. my site is waaaay better.

Diablo 3 Release Date – via www.diablo3.com

Well I had to look for something at www.diablo3.com – the Diablo 3 release date!

(Note: instead of diablo3.com, head to http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/)

Anyway, what’s the news on Diablo III ?

Two decades have passed since the demonic denizens, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, wandered the world of Sanctuary in a vicious rampage to shackle humanity into unholy slavery. Yet for those who battled the Prime Evils directly, the memory fades slowly and the wounds of the soul still burn.

Read more at the site, www.diablo3.com.

Judging by the screenshots, I think it will be a sick game.

Bad news? The Diablo III release date is not known!

According to their FAQ, “It’s too early to estimate Diablo III’s release date. As with all Blizzard Entertainment games, our goal is to create a game that is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible. We intend to take as much time developing Diablo III as is necessary to ensure the game meets our own high expectations and those of our players.”

Ahh, when when when will I get to play??

Steve thinks in the year 2011. So it will be a while.

The Happening (A Movie Where Nothing Happens)

At first glance, the previews for The Happening were extremely seductive – I instantly knew I had to see this thriller.

Then I saw it was another movie from M. Night Shyamalan, who has been disappointing me for years. I’m still bitter about The Village. I got pulled in thanks to the action in the previews, only to realize that by watching the previews, I had already seen all the action, and had no reason to sit through the rest of the film.

So I decided not to see this one, as it would just be a disappointment. Then why did I see it? I heard it was even worse than Lady in the Water, so I couldn’t resist watching it – I had to see just how bad an M. Night Shyamalan film could get!

[Spoiler alert: I'm going to be talking about some plot elements that some might view as spoilers, but with this movie, there's no secret plot twist or anything, and there's really no action to hide, so it's to reveal a "spoiler." So keep reading anyway.]

We start out around NYC and Philly where people start killing themselves for no reason. It just alludes to it though, and you hear some gun shots. No action.

Then it’s deemed a terrorist plot and kids are dismissed from school, and everyone goes on their merry way. Still no excitement, no sense of urgency.

Eventually more people in the area die and some wind whips through the trees. Despite being on the verge of death, people hang out at a local train station with their tickets, calmly awaiting a shuttle to a safer location. Not even one push or shove in the crowd!

And this whole thing goes on for a while. More dead bodies are encountered. Whoppity doo.

People are trying to get away, exactly like in War of the Worlds, minus the action. This is basically a copy of the whole driving away section, meeting an army ranger, taking shelter in a farm house, etc. Just no monsters or lunatic people. I think everyone in this movie is sedated.

Eventually someone says “I think it’s the plants” and goes into a spiel about how plants evolve and can release toxins into the air and some other crap. This was like 20 minutes into the movie, so they just kind of gave it away early. Not surprising though, because the wind whistled through the trees all along, and the film was originally titled “The Green Effect.”

So most people die and we follow a few key characters on their journey to safety. Still, just like War of the Worlds.

But here’s the big ending… SPOILER… the drama stops. No more wind gusts, no more suicides. And that’s it. At least in War of the Worlds, as lame as the ending is, it makes sense. In The Happening, there’s no reasoning, it’s just over.

And people live happily ever after. Yep, that’s the whole movie. No excitement, no graphic scenes. Just some eerie-sounding wind.

Another SPOILER… the big twist at the end… after the NYC area residents go back to normal, the film cuts to a scene in another country where the wind whips up and someone commits suicide. Uh oh, the trees are pissed off over there, too.

The end.

But not the end of my review… here’s the good part…

The whole thing must have been a joke. A very expensive and time consuming joke, but I think Shyamalan is just screwing with us. I mean, this movie was so awful there is no way it’s for real.

See, M Night knows he screwed up a few times. So he makes this one as a parody of his prior movies, just extremely bad on all levels (like, I had to laugh afterwards!) He’s laughing at himself.

This would have been better on April Fools day though.

But anyway, after this, M Night is going to make another movie that’s actually good. Yes, that’s my prediction.

Unless The Happening wasn’t a joke, in which case, I don’t even know what to say.

Coolest thing I’ve seen lately. it’s at eyegas.com, a portfolio from designer Mark Burvill.

Very cool designs and animations. Nice job dude.

Cool flash games too. For example, I love the “attack of the sprouts” game – defend your Christmas dinner!
